Jobs in Wildlife, Karnataka or outside?

Hi Im 26 yr old working in BPO sector for 7 years. I dont have a degree in biology but am pursuing BCA through IGNOU. I wish to work in the wildlife sector and am open to any job in the wildlife as an assistant to someone etc. I am open to anything.Pls advise me in how to pursue this or whom to contact and where. I dont mean a govt job in the forest department because it is basically out of bounds now.Any help is appreciated, Tx.

I'm not here to guide you regarding the path you have tread so far,but looking at the background of career track,its not crystal clear weather in what type of field you want to go and weather your influenced by whom or by what to take a job in wild-life.Because most of people working in wild-life are experts in life science and they have in-depth knowledge of the subjects pertaining to wild-life,they have thorough idea about the behaviour of animals through years of study.So if your thinking that you can make study of animal behaviours and the forest law just by assisting a expert then you are completely wrong.Even if go you along with them in the wild,what you will be getting just the information and nothing else and the bottom line is that you need to have thorough knowledge of medicines used on animals.But still you want to try your fate then I will share with you the number of wild-life expert who resides in Nagpur and has experience of 15 years in this field his name Dr.Bahar Baviskar and his no. is 9975680375.

Ithink you should consult with the person related to wildlife or biology then decide where you want to go.You should also do some research related to the wildlife sector and prepare the data obtained from the research.It is better for you to go the Department Of Forestry and get some ideas and think about your job.

I think you should do some wildlife research and prepare a project. I will help you understand about the wildlife and get a eligible job. You can do some wildlife photography too.
